She was one of the numerous volunteers who took part in the docuseries’ second chapter, putting her life on hold to help the criminal justice system in the United States.

Ashleigh was no stranger to the show since her husband Zac had been a contestant in the first season. Zac was one of the most successful recruiters on the program, busting a narcotics trafficking network.

However, Ashleigh chose to participate in the series in order to help women who are struggling with addiction.

Ashleigh may even be a mother of two and a recovering alcoholic or addict. She informed the camera before going to prison that she intended to help “at least one person” in jail.

While she was in jail, viewers also saw Zac and Ashleigh’s marriage collapse. Ashleigh was overheard telling Zac that she despised him and had pondered leaving him in one incident.

Despite their phone fights when Ashleigh was in prison, they are still together now. Gavin and Ryker, their two small kids, were born to them. “Unfortunately, this season of the programme was excessively manipulated for dramatic impact,” Ashleigh commented on Instagram, referring to the moments of their fight.

“It’s awful that what appeared to be one phone conversation every episode was actually two phone calls cut and manipulated several times.”

For ratings, the network pounced at the chance to twist and alter a number of things that were just not true.

It seemed to work for a handful of us.

Apart from folks who can see through the BS, YOU are the most important.” She also stated in another post that she and Zac had no intentions to divorce.

“Despite our ‘oh so dramatic’ phone conversations and booing, I even have zero hatred for you and love you with all of my beings,” Ashleigh wrote.

I’m delighted we were able to share our genuine love with others.

“Thank you for giving me, two wonderful sons. I’m thrilled to be able to encourage them alongside you, and I hope that one day they will both be as kind, courageous, and honorable as you.” Ashleigh may be a fitness teacher and Youtuber today. She also lends a hand to others who are struggling with addiction.

She now has over 2,000 YouTube subscribers and over 5,000 Facebook followers. 60 Days In is currently available on Netflix.
