The release date for Date A Live Season 4 Live has been officially announced by the anime with a new poster! A brand-new studio and cast will take on production duties for the series’ upcoming fourth season, which will mark numerous changes from the show’s previous seasons.

Additionally, this season’s production was put on hold for “various reasons,” which resulted in this anime’s comeback being pushed back by a year and a half from its initially intended Fall 2021 air date.

Date A Live, which had hinted at an April premiere as part of the Spring 2022 anime calendar, has now announced that Date A Live Season 4 will premiere in Japan on April 8th. The official Twitter account of Date A Live has posted a new poster to mark the announcement of the new season’s release date.

Geek Toys, the new company founded by Jun Nakagawa (the director of the Date A Bullet anime spin-off), will helm Date A Live Season 4. In addition to penning the season’s screenplays, FumihikoShimo (Talentless Nana) will also serve as the season’s character designer.

The new season’s opening and closing themes are titled “OveR” by Miuy Tomita and “S.O.S.” by sweet ARMS, respectively. Additionally, the voice actors from the first three seasons are expected to reprise their roles.
