Dejo Tunfulu, born Kunle Adetokunbo on May 31, 1972, was a well-known Nigerian actor and producer who was a member of the Akuko Gagara Theatre Group and the Kolawole International Theatre Group. He made his television debut in 1987 in the Kolawole International Theatre Group’s drama series “Apere Ijongbon.”

Childhood and Schooling
Tunfulu was reared by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adetokunbo, in Idumota, Lagos Island, Lagos State, the Southwest geographical zone of Nigeria.
He first shown an interest in performing when he was a child and never wavered in his determination to succeed in the acting industry.

When Dejo Tunfulu joined the Akuko Gagara Theatre Group and the Kolawole International Theatre Group, his first television appearance was in 1987 on the Kolawole International Theatre Group’s “Apere Ijongbon” drama series.
Omo Oran, starring Fatai Adetayo (Lalude), was Tunfulu’s breakout performance, and he became an overnight star in the Nigerian film business.
