The Switch version of the game is likely to have new characters, new objectives that lead to Kimetsu reward points for further goodies, and gameplay tweaks for smoother fighting.

A wide variety of characters, each with their own set of skills and weaknesses, are pitted against players in arena combat, which may be fought either online or in the real world. Additionally, there will be a handful of boss encounters.

In general, the plot is reminiscent to Kimetsu no Yaiba. As a consequence, the game’s voice actors have returned to reprise their parts in both Japanese and English, giving it a more real and faithful feel to the famous anime.

The Game Will Soon Be Available In Print!

A physical edition of the game will be released in the near future, and pre-orders may be placed here. Only a limited number of copies of this special launch edition will be made available, which includes the game and a Kimetsu Academy Character Unlock Key.

The popular dark fantasy anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and its movie version, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train, are both based on this 3D fighting video game.

Narratively, the protagonist, Tanjiro Kamado, is a new member of the Demon Slaying Corps.

Throughout the game, he battles demons in an attempt to free his sister Nezuko, who has become possessed. Ultimately, Tanjiro’s objective is to bring Nezuko back to her human form with each win.

Is The Game Available On All of These Platforms?

There are versions for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and PC through Steam, all of which are currently available. To kick things off, here’s a look at the Nintendo Switch’s official launch trailer:
