Gigi Hadid News: After the controversy surrounding an interaction with Gigi’s mother, Yolanda Hadid, which concluded with Zayn pleading “no contest” to four charges of assault, Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid are at odds once again.
Gigi Hadid, 26, is not separating herself from Zayn, 28, and their daughter, Khai, despite their tumultuous relationship. “Gigi knows Zayn is a great father to Khai, and she would never take away his parental rights,” a source close to the situation said. “Gigi has a really tight relationship with her own father and would never take that away from the daughter they share,” the insider continues.
According to the source, Gigi wishes to form a strong relationship with her husband just for the sake of their child’s development. Khai should be in a secure and safe setting, according to her.
Gigi Hadid: Zayn is staying at home, working and writing songs, according to a representative for the singer, while he and Gigi continue to work with a mediator to come up with fresh co-parenting plans now that they are no longer together.
Zayn was accused of “shoving” Yolanda during a heated altercation at his Pennsylvania home on September 29. Yolanda paid a visit to the former One Direction singer and her grandson when Gigi was in Paris.
According to documents obtained, Zayn allegedly warned Yolanda to “keep away from my f-king daughter” and shoved her into a dresser, causing emotional and bodily trauma. In a statement, Zayn “adamantly denied hitting Yolanda Hadid” and expressed his hope that “Yolanda will reconsider her false charges and move towards resolving these family issues in private.”
What Gigi Hadid Shared About Zayn Malik?
Zayn later pled no guilty to various allegations of wrongdoing, including two involving Yolanda, one involving him calling Gigi, and another involving a family security officer. Zayn attempted to “physically engage [the guard] in a fight,” according to court documents. For each count, he is not on probation for 90 days (360 days total.)
If he attends and completes an anger management program and a domestic violence class, his probation will be lifted after six months. Zayn is also forbidden from speaking to Yolanda or the security officer.
Zayn’s “no contest” plea, according to Los Angeles family attorney Kelly Chang Rickert, will almost definitely have no influence on his guardianship of Khai.
Domestic abuse is punishable in family court, however, the claim was made by the mother [Yolanda] of the mother [Gigi], not the mother [of the infant]. She also believes that having an influence is unlikely because the grandma does not live with them or the child.
