Goblin Slayer Season 2 Updated: Goblin Slayer Season 2 leaves a lot of cliffhangers! Here’s all we know thus far, based on the fact that the program was renewed for a Goblin Slayer Season 2 last year. In January, the anime’s 15th anniversary was commemorated.

Goblin Slayer is a fantasy dark anime series based on the same-named light novel that was released in 2016. Kumo Kagyu wrote and Noboru Kanatsuki drew the anime light book series following its publication. The plot follows an explorer who is exclusively interested in hunting goblins with severe hatred.

The Goblin Slayer anime series aired in Japan in October 2018 with its first 12 episodes, leaving several cliffhangers and leaving viewers waiting for the second season to be renewed to continue the tale.

Takaharu Ozaki directed the series, which was animated by Studio White Fox. It is currently unknown whether the director or the animation studio would return for a second season.

Will the anime series renew for its Goblin Slayer Season 2?

Unfortunately, no such information about the show’s second season is available at this time, however, the most likely release date is April 2022. The creators themselves have not provided any such assurance.

According to the latest updates, 15 light novels of The Goblin Slayer have already been printed in Japan, and the light novel is still continuing in 2021. Because the anime adaptation only covers volumes 1 and 2 of the novel, volume 3 picks up where the anime leaves off.

As a result, the season will most likely continue the tale from Volumes 3, 4, and 6. As a result, there will be two more volumes to follow for the continuation of the narrative, which will most likely be animated by the white fox.
