Is Netflix cancelling Monarca Season 3? Whenever there is a new episode in the series, I will post it here.

Monarca Season 3 Updates: The program premiered on Netflix in September 2019 and was renewed for a second season on January 1, 2021, with CobraKai. The programme spent 27 days in the top ten of the Mexican charts, and it also did well in the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Panama, and Honduras.

The show had the potential to reach the top 10 on the US television rankings in a couple of days, but it now looks that the project has concluded without a third season in the works. It does so without closing Monarca season two on a high note, making it impossible to suggest the program to anyone who hasn’t seen it yet.

Senacine, a Mexican television show (Monarca), was closely following the situation, stating on March 26 that the show’s comeback was becoming increasingly doubtful. On March 26, Osvaldo Benavides said on Instagram:

Monarca Season 3 Review:

“In the absence of any new information… I bid Andres Carranza farewell. This is an excellent initiative. Thank you to each and every one of you, as well as everyone else present. The satisfaction of being present. Goodbye.”

Irene Azeual also shared the same farewell on Instagram:

“Some stories will come to a conclusion even if they aren’t finished. Working with individuals I adore, who are full of humour and respect, who are compassionate performers, and who are part of a fantastic team… I’m overjoyed that I’ve created a high-quality series that can be seen both locally and abroad. Now we have to come up with a good finish for the people who witnessed it and the people who helped us.”

According to Juan Manuel Bernal, Senacine got confirmation of the game’s cancellation a few days later, on March 28, saying:

“For everything that led to this news, I am grateful, affected, and shocked. When I announced the termination of the third season of “Monarca,” I finally believed the Netflix platform had verified it…

… I understand your rage, but I am not the appropriate person to vent it. I agree with you. I’m a little unhappy because it appears to me that the series didn’t finish the way it needed to end; we needed to end it, but the decision was not mine, nor ours; it was made by the platform.
