Jake Paul Updates: We don’t get to witness Jake Paul having fun and enjoying himself in his YouTube videos. Instead, he decided to become a boxer and began challenging other fighters. He isn’t doing terribly, despite the fact that he hasn’t trained in a long time, and he has vanquished a number of opponents in the ring.
People now like his ring fights as well, and he does not shy away from spreading excitement throughout his tough fights. He just stated that his next bout will take place on Friday.
His next bout with Tommy Furry took place on December 18 in Tampa, Florida. His opponent is the younger brother of heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, and he has won all seven of his professional boxing bouts.
Tommy threatened Jake Paul in a recent interview with the press, stating, “Jake Paul is going to learn a major life lesson.”
“This is my world, and he has no place in it.” I’m neither an MMA fighter or a basketball player; I’ve been boxing my entire life.
On December 18, I’ll demonstrate the difference between a YouTuber and a true fighting guy. Thank you to my promoter Frank Warren, Most Valuable Promotions, and Showtime for allowing me to finally silence this fool.”
Both fighters will compete in the 192-pound division for eight rounds, each lasting three minutes.
Last month, Tyson Fury told Boxing Social that if Tommy loses to Paul, he should change his name to “Tommy Fumbles.” Tommy will receive an additional $500,000 from Paul’s prize pool if he wins.
Jake Paul’s Upcoming Fight
“If Fury loses, I offered him to alter his name to Tommy Fumbles or give up $500,000 of his money,” Paul remarked. “He made the decision to alter his name. I guess he places a higher value on money than on his own surname. Maybe he knows that if he loses, his family will abandon him, so money and [Tommy’s girlfriend and UK TV star] Molly [Mae-Hague] will be all he has left.”
Paul will be fighting for the first time against a professional boxer. Paul has battled fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib, former NBA player Nate Robinson, and MMA stars Ben Askren and Tyrel Woodley in his first four fights.
And after four consecutive victories, he decides to take one more shot at proving himself in the ring.
