Letterkenny Season 9 will be broadcast on Christmas Day, Friday, December 25, 2020, on Crave in Canada. The next day, Saturday, December 26, it began streaming on Hulu in the United States.

Season 9 intentions were unclear due to the sudden advent of the COVID-19 pandemic in mid-2020. Mark Montefiore said in September 2020 that filming for seasons 10 and 11 that was supposed to take place in August and September had been put back to 2021, implying that Letterkenny Season 9 had been completed.
