After flying back from Byron Bay on a private plane, the Bourne Identity star appeared to be in good spirits as he made his way through Sydney Airport before to the flight. He dragged his personal belongings through the airport and covered his face with a cap and a face masks, adhering to Sydney’s strict new face masks laws in the midst of the city’s current lockdown.
He fortuitously posed for a shot with a female who appeared to be a flight attendant or airport official at one point. Following a Covid outbreak, Sydney is currently under a two-week lockdown. On Monday, the state of New South Wales registered 18 new domestically transmitted Covid cases.

Matt Damon added that he became’so happy’ to be in Australia when he initially flew Down Under, despite the fact that he had to undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine due to the coronavirus outbreak. ‘I’m overjoyed that my immediate family and I will be able to call Australia home for the next several months,’ says the author.
