While John B and Sarah are a couple (as are their co-stars Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline), Kiara and Pope developed their own couple in Season 2. Except with the fact that Kiara has left Pope, she prefers to be friends with him while he has long held affections for her.
In the upcoming Outer Banks Season 3, Kiara appears to be dating JJ. Indeed, all signs point to Kiara and JJ being a relationship in the future. She looked to have greater connection with JJ in Season 1 of Outer Banks, and after parting up with Pope, she became closer to him again in Season 2.
