Good news for Riverdale fans: it has been confirmed that there will be a Riverdale Season 6 for this American online series, with the official debut date set for November 16, 2021, followed by a five-episode event. It is expected to be released on Netflix by the summer of 2022. Each episode will be released once a week, as is customary.

As of today, the first season of Riverdale only had 13 episodes, season four had 19, and season five had the same number of episodes as season four. Keeping in mind the numbers and the type of American web series it is, viewers should expect between 19 and 22 episodes.

KJ Apa, a high school football player with a penchant for music, plays the role Archie Andrews. Jughead Jones and Betty Cooper are Archie’s closest buddies. In an attempt to upset Veronica Lodge’s ideal existence, Lili Reinhart, a brilliant girl with a long-standing infatuation on Archie, draws close to her. Veronica Lodge was played by Camila Mendes. When she relocated to Riverdale from New York, she made friends with Archie, Betty, and Jughead. Cole Sprouse’s Jughead Jones is Archie’s best buddy and a philosophical outsider. Hermione Lodge (née Gomez) (seasons 1–5): Veronica’s mother, played by Mara Isabel Nichols. After Hiram Lodge’s incarceration, she returns to Riverdale.

Madeline Petsch plays Cheryl Blossom, a rich, spoiled, and manipulative girl who is Archie’s classmate. In season two, Cheryl develops a relationship with Toni. Josie McCoy (seasons 1–4, special guest star season 5) was Archie’s classmate, played by Ashleigh Murray. Josie and the Pussycats had her as the lead singer. Madchen Amick is Alice Cooper, the mother of Betty and Polly and the editor of the local daily. Luke Perry, Archie’s father, portrays Fred Andrews in seasons one through three.
