His other notable roles include a starring role in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and many episodes of the television series Lancer. “Mission: Impossible” and “I Will Fight No More Forever” were two of the best-known roles he portrayed on television. As part of his first significant film job, he played a lifeguard in 1976’s “Lifeguard,” which many believe to be his breakout performance.
