Following a group of friends who become engaged in the hunt for a missing young girl and the events that follow as a result of their involvement, the series is set mostly in New York City.

On November 21, 2016, TBS aired the first episode of the series. Having been renewed for a third season in 2018, the sitcom will be moving to Warner Media’s HBO Max streaming service.

The fourth season premiered on January 14, 2021, and the fifth season premiered on January 7, 2022.
