Overview
Season 5 of Yellowstone follows the Dutton family as they go west in the late 1800s to create their Montana home, and premieres on Paramount Plus on Sunday, December 19. It stars Tim McGraw and western favourite Sam Elliott.
The Dutton family, who are battling for their rights, are in the heart of the structure. The main protagonists are obliged to protect the environment throughout the project from neighbours and developers who have set their sights on such a beautiful spot nearby. John, the patriarch of the huge family, will have to deal with the park’s new boss, who has refused to restore the runaway cattle to their rightful owners. The Duttons, on the other hand, will not accept unfair alterations and are locked in a long-running feud. Meanwhile, the city’s rich Jenkins are plotting to seize the property from his greedy hands.
Yellowstone Season 5: Is it Renewed?
In addition to a fifth possible season, programme designer Taylor Sheridan has already secured a deal to expand the Yellowstone canon with two additional games: 1883, a prequel, and 6666, a spinoff presently in development.
“I believe I can speak for everyone, including Kevin, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Luke Grimes, and Gil Birmingham, when I say that everyone is a part of it,” he stated. “We’re getting together.” We’re gathering as a family this year, as it’s our fifth year.”

That isn’t *technically * a promise that Yellowstone will return for a fifth season, but we’ll take it.
In March 2021, actor Cole Hauser, who portrays the Rip show’s mystery heartthrob, revealed to Hall Wines that preparations for the fifth season have begun. She told Kathryn Hall, “[Showrunner and novelist Taylor Sheridan] is working on it right now.” “Season five is going to be fantastic,” says the cast.
