Sons of Anarchy Season 7 News: Many people have died on Sons of Anarchy, both members of the club and outsiders, and one of the most dramatic was Gemma Teller-Morrow, who died in the last season, but why did the writers choose to murder such a significant character?
The Sons of Anarchy, which was developed by Kurt Sutter, aired on FX in 2008 and ended in 2014 after seven seasons. The series was a smash and received rave reviews from reviewers and audiences alike during its run, with praise for the plot, concepts, and performances of the main characters.
In the fictitious town of Charming, California, Sons of Anarchy has also featured the narrative of Jackson “Jax” Teller, who is the VP of the Sons of Anarchy Season 7 motorcycle gang.
The book begins when Jax discovers a manifesto written by his late father, John Teller, who was one of the original members of the MC, in which he shares his intentions and vision for the club, which are substantially different from those of the current President (and Jax’s stepfather), Clay Morrow (Ron Perlman).
This has caused Jax to reflect on his career and role in the club, as well as his relationships, family, and other aspects of his life. Throughout the series, Jax has witnessed several deaths, including those of many people close to him, including his mother, Gemma (Katey Sagal), whom he eventually killed.
Sons of Anarchy Season 7: All About Gemma
The killing of Opie and the murder of Tara are two instances in Jax’s narrative on Sons of Anarchy that may be considered turning points for him.
Tara Knowles (Maggie Siff) was Jax’s high school love, with whom he was reunited in season 1, and by season 6, they had married and started a family with Jax and Wendy’s kid, Abel, and their son Thomas.
Tara was killed by Gemma in Season 6 after a lot of secrets and misunderstandings. Tara used to feel that she had ratted on Jax and the club, but when viewed in reality, she had not. Tara is the only one who is concerned about her children’s well-being and has never betrayed the club.
This has resulted in a mountain of falsehoods by Gemma, resulting in the murders of many individuals who had nothing to do with the crime, including Bobby Munson, a member of SAMCRO (Mark Boone Junior). After learning the truth and realising that his mother had no choice but to die, Jax fired the trigger as Gemma told him she was ready to go.
