Stephen Amell’s Latest News: Stephen Amell has replied to claims that he was forcibly removed from an airline flight earlier this week due to a furious, drunken argument with his wife. Amell is set to premiere his new Starz series, Heels, in August.

Amell admits to being asked to depart a Delta Airlines flight from Austin to Los Angeles on Monday after a disagreement with his wife Cassandra Jean Amell, but he denies being dragged off the plane.

In two tweets, Stephen outlined what had happened.

“My wife and I got into a fight on a Delta flight from Austin to Los Angeles on Monday afternoon. I was advised to speak more quietly, which I did. I was told to depart the plane after approximately 10 minutes. And I went ahead and did it right away.

“I was not forcibly taken,” Stephen said. “I rebooked myself two hours later on a Southwest airline and arrived home safely.” I gave in to my feelings, and that was the end of the narrative. It’s had to be a slow news day.”
