The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5: Release Date and Characters’ Future!

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 has been updated: The Handmaid’s Tale, directed by Bruce Miller and accessible on Hulu, is based on Margaret Atwood’s novel. This show is now sweeping the world.

The Handmaid's Tale Season 5

The book is one of my all-time favourites, and I believe it should be mandated reading in all schools. It was written in 1985, and it’s horrifying how feasible the future feels no matter when you pick it up to read it. This is especially true now, but consider that this has been a distinct possibility since 1985.

We were doubtful that the adaptation would be as horrible as the 1990 film, and I wasn’t sure I wanted to see it in the present political context, fearing it would be depressing, but with each episode, I am more and more impressed with how it looks, which is why it was nominated for an Emmy.

It was just renewed for the next season, with the fourth season (season 4) set to premiere in April 2021. However, there has been no official word from the show’s makers concerning its future season, but given it is now undershooting, it may fall to us in mid-2022.

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 New Characters

The previous season’s story was set in a world where the 2nd Civil War had occurred and fertile women, dubbed “Handmaids,” were condemned to child-bearing enslavement.

Elisabeth Moss will reprise her role as June Osborne in The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5. Fans have predicted the cast, but there has been no official confirmation from the creators.

Madeline Brewer’s storyline from previous season will be continued because it was not properly concluded. Esther Keyes will return to tell the storey of how she got to be the Handmaid.

Commander Lawrence’s backstory may possibly be revealed in the upcoming season. Because Fred is no longer on the show, many fans believe Serena Joy Waterford will die in the future season.
