Tom Hardy – He Wants to Play Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s X-Men.

Tom Hardy: The X-Men are expected to make their Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, according to Tom Hardy. We don’t know when or how it will occur. We do know, however, that it will occur, and that it will most likely occur soon.

If two recent claims are correct, the X-Men and Wolverine might have their own franchises. Of course, rumors must be taken with a grain of salt, but they are nonetheless intriguing.

Thanks to the Disney/Fox merger and the subsequent announcement of the long-awaited MCU Fantastic Four movie, Marvel is prepared to move forward in the next portion of their shared world with some long-awaited additions, and we’re not just talking about Phase Four.

Marvel Studios has yet to reveal who will portray claw-wielding mutant Wolverine in the upcoming film. Hugh Jackman (who played the role for the length of Fox’s two-decade-long X-Men trilogy) will be impossible to replace. On the other hand, the incomparable Tom Hardy would be more than capable of taking it on.

On Instagram, digital artist JPH Photoshop released an extraordinary piece of artwork depicting Tom Hardy as Wolverine/Logan.

The stunning image depicts the actor dressed in a comic-accurate yellow and black suit that includes the character’s distinctive mask, which was omitted from the Fox adaptation.

It goes without saying that comic book fans would be ecstatic if this design surfaced in the MCU.

Is Tom Hardy playing Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

Nobody knows who will portray Wolverine yet. Tom Hardy has led several fan-casting lists over the years, but his involvement in another Marvel picture may make him unlikely to portray Wolverine.

The prospect of Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as recent evidence shows, may also make it less feasible.

Hardy has been in a number of superhero and comic book films.

After all, he played the scary Batman villain Bane with Christian Bale in The Dark Knight Rises, and he also stars as the eponymous character in Sony’s Marvel series Venom, most recently in the highly anticipated sequel Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

Hardy is a fantastic actor who is capable of bringing larger-than-life characters to the screen, and he would gladly repeat his role as Wolverine in the MCU.
